The first step in conflict resolution, as utilized in our Conflict Prevention & Resolution Program, is a Preliminary Assessment, which is finding the source of conflict. This involves an in-depth review of the work culture, interviewing or surveying key stakeholders to understand the organizational goals and uncover potential impediments to team success.

JAMS Pathways facilitators are leaders in conflict resolution with diverse backgrounds as mediators, educators, lawyers, and trainers. They bring deep knowledge in areas like psychology, negotiation, law, culture, and DEI, blending their experience into a multidisciplinary approach that addresses both human behavior and organizational dynamics.

We do our best to accommodate the needs of each client, and that includes being sensitive to your schedule. Working with JAMS Pathways can take anywhere from a couple of weeks (to plan and conduct a one-day training) to several months (for a multi-phased intervention). We collaborate with you to balance the need for speed with what we know works best.

Most conflicts we address in the PATH program have built up over months or years. While training helps lay the groundwork, these issues are complex and can’t be solved overnight. That’s why we use a multi-phase approach—designed to go deeper than training alone and create lasting change.

Since our services are tailored, there’s no fixed timeline. A typical PATH program has four phases: Assessment, Early Intervention, Workshops and Conversations, and Planning Next Steps. We’ll work with you to decide what’s needed and create a schedule that fits your organization.
